"Very comfortable house in a lovely spot (only slight difficulty is the spiral staircase - which could be tricky for some). Especially good if you like fishing with a beautiful lake right outside the front door. Surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of nice walks in the area. "Stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely apartment- part of a classic French property with a garden and private pool. Although secluded the property is less than 10 minutes drive to Brantome with its many good restaurants and market. Some fine walks in the local area as well. Our hosts, Sandra and Alun, were very helpful about places to visit and great company over a glass or two of wine. We cannot recommend this property or location highly enough."
