"What an exceptional spot! Marvao is incredible. The pousada is in a perfect location, and overlooking the plains below, it has a fabulous view. "So much was excellent. The value for money is spot on and even though the restaurant is pricey for Portugal, it's still very good value. "We stayed for 3 nights in 44 degrees. The rooms were cool, the pool very welcomed. Supermarket was about 6 Kms away, easy drives to marvao and castello de vide, both recommended historical hilltop towns."
