"Unique stay beautiful hotel staff accommodating nothing too much trouble. Michelin star restaurant food and wine outstanding celebrated local produce. When comments made about anything they were immediately addressed. Property secluded lovely pool and in house massage excellent. Arranged outing to vineyard which was highly enjoyable "

"We chose the Agriturismo San Leonardello based on it's close proximity to so many of the great sites and towns of Sicily. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at the location, the privacy, the views, the room and most of all the hospitality of the staff. Saria communicated with us leading up to our arrival to ensure almost our questions were answered, and we knew what to expect. "Lovely room. Beautiful evening meals. Helped us out when we mis-laid our keys. Pool was very chilly but refreshing in the heat. We weren’t told that restaurant was closed one evening , and they forgot our take away breakfast one day, but quickly scrambled one together. A lovely place "

"Nice place to stay if you are travelling near Catania. It is located between Catania and Taormina (both ~30 mins drive), so it was convenient for us to explore both. Limited dining options in the area and we have been told the on-site dinner is only available on Sunday and Monday. For us, we drove to Taormina for dinner which was lovely. "The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast good and the staff very friendly. However the place is not as advertised. The pool was closed and looked like it had been closed for some time. No bar or restaurant (s). Just open for breakfast. There is another resort nearby that has these facilities so if they are important to you beware. "

"Beautiful scenery with views of Etna. Safe parking area if you have your own car. Staff were very nice and very accommodating and the food served at the restaurant was delicious. Room was nice, clean and spacious and had free wi-fi."

"All I can say this place is amazing. As it was out of season,we were the only couple here and we were looked after like royalty. The room was beautiful ,modern and rustic. Breakfast was wonderful a cooked or continental. We were surrounded by 3000 lemon trees and the whole experience made us feel so special. We didn't have a car and walked from the station and spent our stay walking - which was so easy. Can't wait to return again soon ❤️"

"Very nice setting, quiet area, free parking and clean rooms. Cons -The b'fast is pretty basic, i would have expected something a little bit better (although continental) -Wifi in room wasnt good. used 3G most of the time. The coverage might need to be improved a little bit Pros -Nice pool area -Quiet setting -Very friendly people -Rooms are spacious and nicely laid out"

"This is an AgriTourismo establishment built around a working vineyard. The accommodation is sited uphill from the main establishment (500m above sea level) and has in front of it a lap pool ranging from ankle-deep to 2m, there is a ramp enabling less able clients to access the pool easily. "The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "Really nice set up. Location is a little out of the way, but then it is an Agriturismo. Located approx 15 minute drive up a very steep and winding road, a little hairy at times!! However the view from the chalets towards Etna is great. The site is set on a hillside so an uphill walk or short drive to breakfast/dinner. The pool was fantastic and Filippo brought regular supplies of chilled water for us at the poolside. Dinner was buffet style with lots of variety and good value at 25euros...

"This winery-accommodation was simply magical. We had a friendly check in. After dinner, we returned to have a wine tasting. We bought some wine and sipped it by the pool as we watched the sunset. In the morning, we watched the sunrise over the vineyard. It was breath taking! Excellent service and experience. "

"We were extremely lucky to be the only guests on the main house which made our short stay to be very special! All the staff made us feel like special guests. The landscape is iidilic, the design of the room and common spaces is perfect! The wine tasting with food pairing is a must."

"We had a lovely 10 days in your clean, spacious villa. Perfect for a family of two adults and two teenagers looking to relax and explore the beautiful island of Sicily. We loved the 4x4 tour of etna you organised for us and we explored the local towns and villages. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the food good and inexpensive. The Lido, just across the road was very welcoming and a great place to swim though the fantastic villa garden was also well used. Dinner on the roof terrace...

"Excellent stay in this great country house surrounded by citrus trees. The house has two large bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen / dining area. Views from the large terrace on Mt Etna and on the sea from the front side are priceless. A car is indispensable. Easy to reach by country roads not far from Messina / Catania autostrada. Mario and Angela are wonderful hosts."

"What a lovely surprise Panoramic Hotel was, from the friendly welcome, to the in room chocolates, to the flip flops for the pool. The room was lovely with a nice balcony and a spectacular view of Islabella. The breakfast was fantastic. Fluffy pancakes, fresh honeycomb, sweet pastries and so much more served in the terrace with views of the bay. We had lunch there one day as well and the food was fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. The pool also had beautiful views. If you’re adventurous the steps to the top to the main town centre and ancient Theater are a challenge, or take the cable car instead. We highly recommend this hotel. "
