"We stayed for 2 nights while attending the CT Sea Music Festival. It was a short distance away from Essex by car. Breakfast came with the booking, although when they handed us a menu with prices, we were a bit confused. Our room was in a seperate building out back up a hill on the property. We drove and parked behind the buiding where we stayed, but walked down and back for breakfast. Our room had an outside porch in the back. There was a dinner option, but we wanted to eat nerer to the festival. I would stay there again."

"Comfortable and convenient! The first floor open layout had lots of cozy corners - a cute breakfast room, a good-sized kitchen, a cute L shaped sofa area with two more chairs, a a big TV, and a room air conditioner that cooled the entire downstairs. It was great that there was on-site laundry on the first floor as well as a full bathroom with a beautiful walk-in shower. Upstairs the three bedrooms were quiet and comfortable - two of them had room air conditioners, which we really needed in the overnight heat and humidity. Everything you need at a decent price - this place is a great value. We found fast food about 1/4 mile away and a great diner about 2 miles away, and we bought milk at the corner gas station convenience store. We are already talking about renting this place again next year when we come back for the Connecticut Sea Music Festival. The host was friendly and helpful."

"This is exactly what I would expect from a super eight. It was clean safe comfortable bed. Also AC worked good bathroom was cleaned. They don’t have breakfast being served there, but that’s not an issue for me. It’s in a safe location. Very close to downtown old Saybrook that has a lot of beautiful restaurants and shopping for the value. I would stay here again."
