"We loved the thoughtful restoration of this unique historic property. Every little detail was attuned to the Arts & Crafts period and reflected Frank Lloyd Wright’s aesthetic. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. We were charmed by the hotel, the central city park across the street, and the many options for entertainment and learning in Mason City. We plan to return. It’s a delightful spot for a weekend getaway."

"The only bad thing is their coffee is weak and bland. Also, they pre book you a room and the girl at the desk said there was no way to switch my room. Even though i was one of the 1st to check in. Odd...Still a Awesome place to stay."

"This is a property that is well maintained. Rooms are clean, breakfast is hot, pets welcomed and a restaurant that serves everything right across the parking lot. If I had to name a negative it would be that the beds are on the harder side but that is it!"
