Swung up to the Bayfield area for a fall getaway and this place was lovely. The house was cute and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the deck and incredible stargazing.
We wanted one last gasp of summer before school started and to check off a few more trails in our hiking book. We also wanted a place that was secluded and private. This was a perfect place. We had the privacy we were looking for with all the comforts of home! 40 minutes from the Apostole Islands and 15 minutes from Morgan Falls/St. Peter’s Dome. Very clean. Very comfortable.
3 of my family members and I stayed at the cabin for the Wisconsin fishing opening weekend. It's in a beautiful setting down a very quiet dead-end road. The Lincoln Community Forest hiking trails are right across the road, and the very impressive Morgan Falls and St. Peter's Dome are in the national forest just a few miles away. We fished the Marengo river and nearby White river and caught a few brown trout. The cabin was clean and had plenty of room for all of us. I would definitely consider staying again.
Very nice home, very secluded and perfect to “get off the grid”
Only recommendation is better pillows for the beds. Otherwise it was an amazing place!
Thank you to our hosts.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is nice, with a fantastic deck overlooking the Marengo River. The thing that struck me the most is the QUIET. Just the sounds of nature.
The house had a warm welcoming atmosphere and the location was great with a wonderful view of the river. It had everything we needed for a nice weekend. The downstairs bathroom could use a garbage can. Despite the cold weather the house was warm and had plenty of blankets.
We had an excellent stay at this cozy dream cabin. So secluded and full of incredible views! My fiance and I enjoyed every second we were there. Everything was incredibly clean and organized. Internet was very fast and allowed me to do multiple zoom calls during the evening for work. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and we look forward to booking again in the near future with our friends and family!
My family and I had an amazing time here. The house and scenery are beautiful. The host were great and got back to me quickly if I had any questions. If you are looking for a place to vacation off the beaten path this is definitely what you are looking for.
Oh my god!!!! I don't know where to even start!!! This property is AMAZING! It is so quaint AND well appointed! We were there for the Chequamegon Mountain Bike Festival, and I can say for a fact we I will be definitely staying here again! It's the perfect sizer for a small group, the location is perfect. It is affords total privacy, while being a only a short drive to Cable. There are hiking trails literally right across the street! You can even ride gravel right outside your door.I just really loved this place!!! Can't recommend it enough!

Disliked: Cleanliness

Communication with the owner was great. Owner was responsive and provided a phone number just in case. Owner let us arrive a couple hours early as well. Once we arrived though we had a few issues with the property. We had some issues with the dishwasher, washer, and the showers. We let the owner know. The owner stated they will look into it and they took care of us after we brought up our issues. Beautiful area for a getaway and the property has a great view from the master bedroom windows. Once the owner looks into the issues we brought up this will easily be a 5 star place to stay.
Beautiful cabin! We had a wedding only a mile away so this location was amazing. But the actual space was especially sweet also. Quiet. Trails. Large deck. We were grateful for a great stay.
Wonderful place tucked back in a twisty dead-end dirt road, with everything you need to relax and enjoy the company you came with. We had a great time!

Very peaceful and beautiful place!
My wife and I stayed over the 4th. We caught fish in the river on the property, enjoyed local lakes, went to Bayfield, and loved this quiet cabin. It was definitely very rural (long travel on dirt roads), but it had everything we needed! Definitely the newest and most modern cabin in the area. Thank you for the great stay!
