The kindest family and the most picturesque home. As a young, female, first-time, solo traveler, I couldn't have felt safer. The owners are welcoming, accommodating, and helpful without being invasive (which was always a concern of mine about bed&breakfast type places). Everyone was eager to help, answer questions, and chat. They even set up a dinner reservation in a neighboring town for my friend and I, with free taxi service there and back. The town is so friendly and adorable, with absolutely amazing food and easily accessible city bus services. Making it a breeze to get around the amalfi coast without having to stay in a crowded or loud town. The overall vibe of Maison Fernanda is much like the town of Sant'Agata itself: cozy, simple, and charming. (Plus, important to note, the AC worked fantastically during the entire 90+ degree stay)

Best shower of the trip! Parking is not in the immediate location, so expect to walk. The front entrance is off a very narrow street which made it a little challenge to find. All in all, great service and would stay again.

Stunning family-run house

We had a lovely time at Maison Fernanda, punctuated by the fantastically adorable town it's in. Location: The house is very central in town, and we loved the town! There's one of everything, including a lovely wine-bar, gelateria and a 2-start Michelin option. If coming from Sorrento it's ideal to make your way earlier in the day by bus when frequent, otherwise you'll pay a solid €45 getting there by taxi - I nearly gagged. When then heading along the coast there's a nearby SITA bus stop taking you to Sorrento, and a slightly less near (~7 min walk) for the SITA bus talking you towards Amalfi. Room: Beautiful. Perfectly appointed. Cozy, but well-maintained. Staff & Communication: Once checked-in, top notch communication. Pre-check-in, bit of a struggle to be honest. I couldn't get a clear and helpful response about a suggested strategy for arrival, and they weren't prompt with responses on the day causing a check-in struggle with us luggage-laden on the street outside calling Hotels.com long-distance and engaging a local bakery so we could use their phone. It would be helpful if there was a listed What's App on the website. Also some suggested ways to arrive, with the prices. Breakfast: Simple and delicious. A little buffet and an option to eat al fresco.

Gem of Sant Agata

Lovely guest house, spotlessly clean and beautiful rooms. Fernanda and her family are lovely and so welcoming. Definitely try Fernanda's dinner and her mum's homemade limoncello!! Great town with great place a to eat and drink and a brilliant base to explore the surrounding areas including Sorrento, Pompeii and Positano. Great value for money too.

Perfect

Incredibly good. Is the best travel experience for this trip. Like family and kind and friendly. There are beautiful clean rooms with garden. Delicious breakfast makes us really reluctant to leave.
