This is a spectacular boutique hotel! The views of the coastline and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms cannot be beat. This is 5-stars for the room views, the service, the updated exquisiteness of the décor, and the added amenities (pool, balconies, outdoor dining, access to oceanfront restaurants, etc. Don’t expect a Sheraton or Hilton type place….this isn’t that, and you shouldn’t be here looking for that here. We had an amazing view of the sea from which we dined at our balcony a couple of times. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was great. They were able to book our tours and arrange transportation from the hotel to the airport/train station. We would highly recommend staying here.

There truly aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Giacomo and his place are. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel so welcome. I can not begin to say how wonderful our stay was with Cristina and her husband. Weeks before we left for Italy, Cristina was in touch with us. She helped arrange transportation from Rome and return trip to Rome. She suggested and made dinner reservations for us and each restaurant was exceptional. Her breakfast each morning was wonderful. I really like the personalized service from Victorico the moment I arrived at Mermaids Dream Sorrento and Ernesto’s excellent hospitality I experienced even before arriving there. This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. The location was excellent, close to the lift you can take up from the port if you’re coming by boat. Close to lots of restaurants and a great view of the sea and port. We were upgraded to a king room with the largest shower I have ever seen in Italy. The front desk staff was super friendly. Daily happy hour and breakfast were wonderful perks. Would definitely recommend.

The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!

Very nice hotel. Great location, very clean, and the staff were helpful. The But…The only downside was the discotheque club located beneath the hotel. Opened at 11pm until 3am. The music bass was very noticeable. Have to imagine all low floor hotel rooms hear and feel this. The three of our phones sound apps were on high volume to try to washout music.

This is a fabulous property. The grounds are delightful. The breakfast spread was pleasing.

Very nice apartment with a fantastic view. Safe and walkable area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Train/Bus station is a few minutes walk is all. Taxi stand right up the street in the town center. King bed was comfortable. One night of my 3 i had a very noisy neighbor and i could hear everything at all hours. The 2 nights later were very quiet. Kitchenette, hair dryer, and kettle provided as well as towels. Hostess was very nice and communicative. Use WhatsApp, very easy communications....

We stayed 5 nights at the Palazzo Spasiano in May 2023. The hotel is in a great spot in Sorrento, close to everything. Complimentary snacks and coffee replenished every day. The room was fantastic and our favorite out of three hotels we stayed at around Italy. The best part was the service provided by Melania, the hostess. She really mad our stay in Sorrento. She arranged a private transfer to Bomerano to start the Path of the Gods hike. And when our ferry from Positano back to Sorrento...

The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. The service from all the staff whether it be registration, concierge, dining, pool, cleaning or spa wax consistently top notch. It is a physically pleasing site and is close to all the shops and restaurants in the main area of Sorrento. We were there for 8 days and could have stayed longer. We were so impressed with our room and the staff. I do want to say that it is on the 3rd floor and they do not have an elevator. The staff will carry your bags up and down for you, but there are a lot of steps to go up (68). I would say if you can't do steps it would be a problem. Yuri, Fasio, and Luigi are so helpful and really go above and beyond. I will stay there again, if we go back to Sorrento, which by the way, is the nicest town. I absolutely love this hotel. Have stayed there several times and wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else. The location is so convenient to the square and right in the middle of al the activity. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is always delicious. Mario does a wonderful job making sure everyone has anything they want for breakfast.

Great location less than a block from the main plaza. Our room was right next to the elevator and we never heard a sound. Only a few blocks to the train station and bus stops. Many great restaurants nearby. Best breakfast buffet in our whole 26 days in Italy. Left a jacket and they had it sent to our next hotel on Capri for a minimal charge.
