"What a GREAT place to spend time with the family. Great location to the river and the beach. AC was cold, spacious, the BACK PORCH was the best place in the house. Sat and drank coffee watching the river roll by. Kids fishing, birds, raccoons, dolphins, NO neighbors were home... It was Perfect!"

"HUGE COVERED BOAT LIFT AND PATIO AREA!!!! The covered upper deck over the dock area was the best I've ever seen or stayed at. You could relax outside in the hot Texas August heat and still stay fairly cool under the shaded upper deck. The house is great! Nice big roomy kitchen and living areas. It was perfect for our group. The AC blew cold inside the house - key for this time of year! One of the more special notes is this house doesn't have the sharp inclined stairs and it was only one flight up to the main house and a slight inclined catwalk to the covered upper deck. The sunset off the deck area was the best. Perfect picture taking place with great views everywhere! Another note for you fisherfolks - there is quite a bit of room in front of the house to back your boat in and still leave it hooked up to your truck allowing plenty of more space for others. There's no doubt our next stay in Gorda will be here!!! - Clint W"
