Two stores close by and a Four Square, also a popular fish and chop shop and bar. Limited internet access, no tv, so we played lots of family games. Only slightly negative point was the steep driveway, but my husband coped by putting his foot down! Joanna was a great host and very responsive. We would definitely stay again "

"Enjoyed yesteryear charm. Excellent little touches. Be prepared to travel for Cafe's in Rawene. Great to walk the Kohukohu village up past the school to appreciate the wonderful old villas. Most were built in the 1800's. Best to purchase a concession card for ferry travel. Much cheaper."
