"This is a charming house. There are 3 good size bedrooms , beautiful ocean view. The property was impeccably clean,very comfortable and well appointed. The location is excellent...just a few minutes to local attractions and the Rockland waterfront and Main St. shops and restaurants. Jason was easy to work with and very quick to respond to all inquiries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this property."

"We had a wonderful stay at Jack's place. The private swimming quarry is steps away and was lovely perk. The cabin is unique, cozy and perfect. We walked to the farm for breakfast and had a delicious pastry, egg burrito and coffee. The town is within walking distance, as are many trails. It was a perfect stay! We would come back again for sure:)"

"The property and home were lovely, well appointed, quality furnishings (especially the kitchen - wonderful!). Being close to a busy, working harbor, we expected it to be noisy at times and it indeed is. Lobstermen going out in the very early hours with loud trucks and boats, and loud voices - sound carries across the water. Just be prepared for that. Otherwise, it makes for an amazing place to sit and watch the activity and enjoy what the Maine coast has to offer. Our only hiccup was the grill. There was so much debris and grease left in the grill that it became fully engulfed in flames while we were cooking and had to be extinguished. No harm done to us, just the food, but the grill was left to us in a filthy state. Grates were clean, but the grease and build up inside was too much and each side table were covered with dirt and grease. We got a quick response from managment for a new extinguisher and a gentleman then cleaned out the grease, but we still had to clean the filthy steel side counters in order to put anything on them. Also, checkout instructions were a bit much. For the price we paid (in high season seems to be double that of low season), I don't expect such a detailed list of housekeeping items. The house is truly lovely, but the rate is rather expensive in our opinion."
