"A very well maintained period property. The stay was great and the friendly staff very accommodating, particularly as we used it as an overnight stop to cycle the White Peak Loop. They let us lock the bikes in an outhouse and totally understood our needs.
Would recommend and may well return, next time with my wife for a treat!"

"We really enjoyed the whole stay. The scenery and set up is beautiful. Our room was lovely and bedding clean. Staff were amazing. Very friendly.
The only issue we had was the food. We have a meal in the restaurant and it was £16 for a microwave curry. Drinks expensive and breakfast basic. This is the only thing to let it down. However there is plenty of food options in Matlock Bath itself."

"Large house which was ideal for our group of 10 adults - having a bathroom per couple. Great location - only a few minutes walk into centre of Matlock. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery etc for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub and it was a bonus to have extra towels to use for that. There was a dog bed and other accessories provided which was great. With the gorgeous weather we spent a lot of time in the garden and it would have been good to have some more comfy chairs. There are a couple of steps in the garden which were a bit tricky so not ideal for those with mobility issues. Overall highly recommend"
