Top Matlock Hotel Reviews
The Beeley Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Lots of accommodation option in separate estate cottages attached to the pub"
Oakhill
8/10 Good
"Oakhil is a very nice smallish, homely hotel in beautiful grounds and countryside. We stayed in an ex carriage room so a bit dark but comfy. Main schandaliers wouldn't turn on to give more light. Food outweighs any minor complaint, as evening menu was varied and delicious. Breakfast was good but not memorable. If you're looking for a hotel near Matlock etc, try this one. It's good value, comfortable with yummy food."
The Old Lockup
10/10 Excellent
"Tim the owner was friendly and helpful. The room had just about every amenity required & was spacious and comfortable. The house was quirky and atmospheric. Breakfast was excellent. I know we are in the minority probably but we would have preferred ' ordinary ' bread rather than the posh stuff. If you have been to Wirksworth we would recommend it as a quirky, friendly town."
New Bath Hotel & Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly staff, great location. With a visit to the outside pool. Great live music in the bar, lovely spacious room. What a hidden gem, would stay again."
The Fountain Tea Rooms B&B
8/10 Good
"Lovely place. Twin room was great. Only downside was the mattress on my bed was very uncomfortable. Would have given a better score if that hadn’t been the case."
Duke of Wellington
8/10 Good
"Perfect room for a short stay."
