"Beautiful clean excellently equipped house in Matlock. Great parking, exceptionally clean. Large and spacious with an amazing kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. Lots of hot water. Great communication. Only downside for us as seniors was the very hilly area. We love to walk but the high location of this lovely home meant we preferred to drive, and therefore park, to visit the town. Beautiful house. Thanks"

"Very helpful owner who brought us cake! The property has everything you need for a group of friends, with 9-10 separate beds. Downside is it is bit cramped - particularly the kitchen and the narrow spiral staircase. But for the price it's great and we'll probably go again."

"A beautiful property with wonderful helpful hosts. This is a lovely place to stay and it’s pet friendly. There are stairs but hey it’s an apartment and not a bungalow. It’s unique and all of my party were very impressed by the decor, furnishings and wonderful location overlooking the river and so close to all that Matlock has to offer. 5* all the way. "

"We had a great stay in this lovely cottage. The place is well equipped, comfortable and full of character. We enjoyed sitting out around the table in the back garden and watching the world go by. "We loved this super little cottage, the putting green outside was a pleasant surprise, all finished to a super standard. Nice to have supplied tea / coffee, milk and butter - would be nice to have had a nice local fresh loaf to go with the butter... just a thought! Also would be nice to include some board games, pack of cards for evening entertainment. Overall Lynda was so welcoming and we will be back as we have found a nice haven in the Peaks."
