"Came as a solo traveller to snowboard for a week. This hotel was perfect for me, beds were a little small but thats common everywhere in japan. Its not the Ritz but is perfect for a place to pass out each night and location is central in echoland. "

"This facility is suitable for relaxing all the time with big outside bathtub and quiet room. We could stay in safe and really enjoy all of the time. Especially when we were in the 2nd floor in our room to take a outside bath, we were amazed by the beautiful sight of the stars. Although the temperature was so low, I guess it’s below zero, we were so excited to staring at the stars thanks to the hot spring. "Excellent classic hotel with large well appointed rooms ,comfortable beds in a fabulous location. Literally just minutes walk from Matsumoto Castle. The Onsen was superb after a long day of walking and touring. The breakfast buffet combined Japanese and Western style and was delicious. Hospitable and excellent staff. "
