A spacious property with private balconies, great views and exceedingly close to all amenities and very quiet. Bus stops within 100m. Parking for one vehicle (maximum dimensions 4800mm long, 2400 wide, 2000 high). If your car is larger, there are convenient alternative local arrangements.
There is a elevator to the apartment, which is split on two floors. The first floor has open plan dining, a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area with comfortable double sofa beds and a large balcony. The second floor has a large bedroom with a Bicoflex Swiss Sleep System king size bed, equipped with a new king size mattress (December 2023) adult bunk beds with exceedingly comfortable mattress toppers, wardrobe, drawers and balcony, and bathroom.
The Interlaken tourist tax of CHF 3.50 per adult (over 16) per night is payable after confirming your reservation via the VRBO plaform. I will send a payment request.

Lovely and spacious apartment within walking distance to both trains stations in Interlaken. Amazing views in the morning. Guy was very welcoming and helpful with directions and what to do in the area. We enjoyed our stay!
The host was very friendly and provided us with detailed information about the trip. The accommodation is great for families and conveniently located for our trip, with a supermarket directly underneath. Especially the view from the balcony was amazing. We would love to stay here again when we visit Interlaken next time.
We went to Jungfraojoch for the day and stayed overnight. The apartment was clean with good amenities. Also the benefit of a store downstairs and plenty of things within walking distance. Check in was easy and the underground parking secure. Guy was very helpful in communication with all our needs.
The apartment location is good. Guy was super communicative and responsive. However the bathroom, bath towels, beddings and mattresses (esp bunk bed) need to be refreshed badly.
This was a very convenient place to stay. There is a bus stop very close and the buses are free for visitors. There is a coop store downstairs. Views of the Jungfraujoch from the upstairs balcony.Views of mountains as well.The only negative was it was noisy from 7am as there is a gardening centre opposite and they start at 7am. It’s not noisy all day. Very quiet overnight. Guy was fabulous with communication and very responsive to any questions. It was a good and much cheaper option than a hotel.Thanks GuySelf contained and good lighting for reading.
We stayed in Guy's apartment for 5 nights in July. Guy is extremely responsive, provided great directions to get to his apartment and included step-by-step instruction (including pictures) on how to get the key and get to the apartment - this is useful when you arrive at an unknown place for the first time. The apartment was very well stocked with everything you'd ever need to live for a few days. There were fans in the living room and bedroom that helped with the weather in summer. The Coop store in the building was very convenient to buy milk, bread and groceries. There is a bus stop next to the building that made it easy for us to get to Interlaken OST train station. Guy also provided a Summer Activities guide that was useful - not just places to see around Interlaken, but local restaurants and "Things to Do" and a guide to get laundry done nearby.
Overall, we had a great time at the apartment and enjoyed our vacation near the Swiss Alps.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in Interlaken! The apartment and location were perfect for us! The check in process was incredibly easy and the host very helpful and quick to reply. The apartment is perfectly equipped - everything you could need, but without being cluttered. The kitchen equipment is good quality - I have never had the pleasure of cooking with sharp kitchen knives at a holiday rental before! Everything is clearly labelled with easy to follow instructions. Bed was extremely comfortable and shower was strong and reliable!
The location worked really well for us. We wanted to hike most days, plus explore Interlaken. It’s only a 15-20 minute walk to the main train station and city centre. We ate at so many great restaurants - some in the centre and some near the apartment (plenty to choose from). Staying above a Co Op supermarket was an incredible perk too. It was open 8 until 8 every day, so restocking on essentials was very easy. I also liked that Matten was quieter than the city centre. Thoroughly recommend!

Nice place. Great communication with owner who was very responsive. Only problem was trying to open the lockbox, which was frustrating, but the owner said he would get it fixed.
Guy’s home was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. The supermarket is in the same building, which made cooking at the apartment super convenient. I definitely recommend staying here on your visit to Interlaken.
Guy’s apartment is centrally located in Matten next to an excellent Coop grocery store, great restaurants, and multiple bus stops that can have you to and from Interlaken Ost station in minutes. Plenty of room & very secure, although the neighborhood is so nice you won’t have to worry about that. Definitely would stay here again next time.
Guy was an amazing host! We loved our stay. The place was exactly as described and Guy had thought of everything - he gave great recommendations and information!
Was so fun. Great comunication and amenities. Large beautiful windows and great views. Everything is close by. The only thing we had found is that the laundry is off site at a laundromat not in the building. The balconie were also cute and handy. We slept with the windows open and no bugs even in the middle of summer.
My wife and I were very please with our recent stay at this property. It's in a great location and has access to grocery store, restaurants, etc. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Guy is a great host and always responsive and willing to assist his guest. Overall highly recommend this property.
Guy is probably the most helpful and thorough host we’ve ever had. His home was immaculate with every detail taken care of. The location was great for getting food at the grocery store as well as walking to restaurants and bars. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at the end of the day watching the surrounding mountains. We cannot wait to return.

The host communicated very well and provided a lot of helpful information upfront, which made the stay smooth and comfortable. The amenities worked as expected, and while it may sound minor, the low lighting was a challenge for me since I had to work on my laptop at night. three people with one tiny bathroom on the 2nd floor worked but I would have preferred to have a second bathroom with three of us - one on each floor.The listing indicated the location was close to the station; however, it’s about a mile away. Traveling in January with two kids and winter gear, especially during snowy conditions, made daily trips to the trains a bit less convenient than anticipated. We chose Interlaken for the variety of dining options within walking distance compared to Grindelwald, but since most of our activities were in the mountains, the location ultimately felt less convenient for our itinerary.Overall, a well-run stay with a responsive host—just something to consider for families planning frequent alpine excursions in winter.
We stayed at Joblings Holiday Apartment in June of 2019. Guy was very helpful before our trip began with directions, area info and suggestions for paragliding and other adventure outfitters in the area. The apartment was perfect for our party of three and had everything we needed. The proximity to the Coop grocery store made shopping for provisions easy and convenient. We could walk to everything in Interlaken- train stations, Harder Kulm, restaurants, etc.
We would recommend this apartment very highly for a couple of small family of 3-4. We would definitely stay here again if our travels take us back to Interlaken.
This apartment was perfect for our holiday in Switzerland. Well located, well equipped, clean, quiet, great views and comfortable bed are just a few of the positives. The owner "Guy" was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout and was a pleasure to communicate with. I would highly recommend, and happily return in the future.

We rented Guy's apartment for our holiday. There were three of us and we were very comfortable. The property is clean & has everything you should need while on the road. Guy is also very responsive if you have questions. The location is great. There is so much to see and do that we wish we could stay longer. There is a Coop grocery store, restaurants & bars all within walking distance. The kitchen has what you need to cook small meals. We used it to cook breakfast & eat lunch.
The apartment is in a nice neighborhood & feels very secure. I highly recommend for your visit to Interlaken or surrounding areas.
