"The friendly staff greeted me at the door, spoke enough english so check-in was easy and quick. They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. A nice quiet accommodation with an instant friendly warmth when you walk through the door. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here."

"I love the Tanbo no Yu! I can tell that its being fixed up more everytime I come here! The staff was great—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They even held our luggage for us after check-out, which allowed us to explore Kanazawa freely as tourists without any hassle. The breakfast buffet was good, offering plenty of options with both Japanese and Western dishes. The food was fresh and nicely presented. "
