Top Maumeen Hotel Reviews

The Boat Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Newly remodeled hotel, but there is no front desk or anybody working there. Check your message from the hotel when you book because it contains a code to get in the front door. The hotel should put a sign on the entrance to let people know. Other than that, it's a great hotel! There's a few restaurants & pubs really close to the hotel! Powers Thatch is a great restaurant/ pub & Fahertys is a great place to just hangout, especially of Gary is tending the bar!"

Connemara Coast Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The property and view where outstanding. & The staff was absolutely lovely! From early checkout to the moment we checked out it was a perfect stay … so much so we added a day while there. We had a very slight concern at check-in and it was taken care of immediately and with a smile! There is a lovely younger blond woman who works in the pub who helped find Birkenstocks in Galway, because my feet were upset at the shoes I had with me. Aaaaand there is a lovely curly blond woman who worked in the breakfast buffet who is absolutely an asset to the property. I wish I could remember names & I am sorry for it! 10/10 i would recommend for families, business or a romantic getaway!"

Cottage 345 - Oughterard - sleeps 10 guests in 4 bedrooms

8/10 Good

"We had a great stay. The cottage is very big. The kitchen is well equipped. The village is close by. The only point I can think of in a negative way, is the loud sound of the boiler (?) once you turn the water on or flush the toilet at night. The bathrooms could use an update. But it did not bother us."

Connemara Stone Barn on Wild Atlantic Way, walk to beach, near Aran Island Ferry

10/10 Excellent

"We love this property. The house is spacious and adorable. The bed was very comfortable. The house was well stocked. The view across the stacked stone fences was inspiring. It is very near the beach and not far from a market. We would definitely stay again."
