"The house is right on the beach and has an amazing view. The deck is a lovely gathering place for folks, and if you're a surfer, the water is 10 steps away. The layout is a bit quirky but worked well for us because the 2 downstairs bedrooms are across a room from each other, affording privacy. Communication with the owner was great - she was very responsive and flexible. Things to know: The house is old and is definitely a vacation home; nothing flash but everything works. "A lovely well positioned private bach at the northern end of Waihi beach just a 5 min stroll to the beach. More than adequate size for large family with 2 double bedrooms and children’s bunk room, Excellent amenities and especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. Had a lovely time with the family and my parents which was made even more memorable being able to take our furry friend too. Great instructions from the owner. Highly recommend."
