"The house is newly remodeled but only the "apartment " we stayed in is finished.The place is very nice.The only complaint for interior is that there is no bathroom door.Being a new remodel Im not sure how putting at least a pocket door in instead of partial wall for privacy couldn't have worked. The outside has a long way to go to being an outdoor oasis.Climbing down the gravel/weed ridden hills to get to water was not great. Definitely not in flip flops or barefoot!Very much felt like a...

"We wanted a short getaway for our anniversary. We visited Horicon March for walks and bike riding. We grilled our own dinner one evening. Then had other meals in Beaver Dam. We LOVED the view of the Rock River and the fact that we could sit a few feet away from it to have morning coffee. The studio was cozy and full of windows. Perfect getaway!"

The owner brought me a new one the next day. One thing that isn't necessarily evident in the photos is that the stairs to the bedrooms in the loft are very steep. "We stayed here for a wedding nearby so honestly did not have a ton of time at the property. House has plenty of room for a larger group. Kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking. Directions for check in/check out were clear and owner was extremely communicative. Basement was kind of musty so we kept the sliding doors open when home. Hustisford is a smaller town than I anticipated so I’m happy we stocked up some groceries before arrival."
