"We loved the unit and all the amenities. It is very nicely appointed and furnished, and wonderfully dog friendly. The location at the edge of Winthrop is ideal - far enough for privacy and peace and quiet, but close enough for a leisurely walk into town to enjoy the great restaurants and western saloons. We especially enjoyed Three Finger Jacks. We loved our stay at the Sunflower Resort and we will be back again."

"We had a great stay. Everything was very clean, and well appointed. The 2-story townhouse has a living area, kitchen and bathroom on the lower floor, and then bedrooms upstairs. Had "critical" amenities like a coffee maker and grinder. Didn't have a chance to do any cooking. Distance is a little far to walk into downtown Winthrop, but a really quick drive or easy bike."

"This was a perfect alternative stay to our normal camping trip to Mazama. We love being close to the glorious store and trails. The pool was a pleasant surprise for us. Very relaxing and beautifully landscaped. We will stay again!"

"This was a wonderful spot to stay With my college age children to celebrate my sons birthday and enjoy the hot air balloon festival. Winthrop and Twisp are always some of our favorite places to visit and this cabin was a great retreat!"

"Our family and friends stayed at Fireside Lodge for four nights between Christmas and New Year’s eve for a chance to unwind after the Christmas frenzy and hit the ski trails. We were not disappointed! The lodge has a huge Great Room and enough bedrooms and other community space for everyone to have the experience they wanted - quiet space to read, family room with a large TV, living room for board games and socializing. "We were in Pine room 16 and it was spotlessly clean. We were pleasantly surprised by an air purifier/UV filter unit which was greatly welcome since we were there during smokey conditions. We didn’t realize that the dining room was only open on weekends and only for breakfast so that is something to check before a visit. The bed was very comfortable, the refrigerator sufficiently large( no freezer compartment), great sitting area. We recommend this room."
