"Amazingly welcoming hosts! We really appreciated our stay at La Grande Maison and we not hesitate to book again if we are ever in the area. DO NOT skip on the breakfast, it was great!"

"We liked the location. It was easy to get to places via the rail link, situated nearby. Katie and Olivier were extremely helpful and made our stay more enjoyable with their suggestions for places to visit and local restaurants in which to eat."

"Remarkable overnight find. Friendly, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Only problem was I couldn't get the air to work despite a french instruction label which made sleeping a little difficle"

"What a gem of a find, we stayed for one night whilst travelling from England to Spain. We was warmly greeted on arrival and went straight into the pool after a very long day. The host then prepared a fantastic 3 course home cooked meal with wine. Room was spacious, clean and bed comfy, with a wonderful views over the vineyards. In the morning a lovely prepared breakfast outside and the friendly hosts couldnât be more accommodating. We will 100% be returning each year as we travel to Spain, thank...

"Best breakfast of the tour we have done, all fresh good quality food, parking was in a secure garage next to hotel.
Excellent location between the old town and new, great view of the old town from the roof terrace, staff very helpful and friendly."
"So well located within the walls of the medieval citadel. While parking was off site, the attendant drove me an my luggage to the hotel - in a tiny electric car made necessary by the very narrow streets in the citadel"
"It wasnât a 4 star hotel experience. It can be seen like it from the way is advertised and looks on pic. The room was small, no proper mugs for coffee in the room just paper one ( no milk sachets provided either which with the amount of English tourists visiting ( drinking tea with milk ) is kind a strange). Cleaning issue in the bathroom especially around the edges of the shower. Room was not cleaned one day at all. Second day cleaned only partially ( bed was made but bin not emptied and dirty cups left on table not cleaned ).
Staff were friendly but unfortunately not all of them speak English. Breakfast was good but poor selection of coffees ( no cappuccino or latte ) just basic one.
You can definitely find better options for 4 star hotels in similar locations."
"Very good location, everywhere easily walkable. Secure parking & restaurant and bar were good with great views and staff helpful, but the room let it down. The dark decor showed every scratch & knock but more importantly our room was very badly designed. They got in a separate toilet & shower room but the toilet was so small you couldnât use it and comfortably and shut the door, even if you werenât tall! Donât know if all rooms are like this or we were just unlucky.
Apart from that it was very clean & comfortable."
