"Si vous y allez en été, il vous sera très utile d'apporter un ventilateur. Les chambres sont sous les combles et peuvent devenir très chaudes lors des journées les plus chaudes, surtout si vous souhaitez vous reposer après le déjeuner ou en début de soirée.Le jardin est grand mais sans ombre. Un parasol vous sera donc également utile."

"We have just returned from a wonderful week in this special of place with truly spectacular views. We were blessed with truly perfect weather & enjoyed both the pool as well as swimming, kayaking & paddle boarding on the surrounding lakes.We travelled far & wide to local villages, Lourdes, The Peak-Du-Midi, a spa in the mountains, even to a Vielha in Spain but also enjoyed simply relaxing at 'Le Petit Rossignol' for some much needed R&R with the cows & in the evenings owls & crickets for company.....shear bliss We didn't get to meet her husband, but the host 'Gail' couldn't have been more helpful, really friendly & excellent communication throughout.Stop thinking about it & book it!"

"Gite très agréable dans un endroit idéal pour des vacances reposantes.Au niveau de l’équipement il ne manquait rien sauf peut-être une seconde poêle un peu plus grande, mais c’est vraiment un détail...Nous sommes tout près du lac de Génos que nous pouvons rejoindre facilement en vélo. Nous nous sommes régalés pendant une semaine entre les balades à pied où à vélo dans les sentiers C’est une adresse que nous retiendrons"

"Idéalement placé au pied du Tourmalet, cette ancienne bergerie aménagée en habitation (duplex) permet aux randonneurs de rayonner dans les Pyrénées. Il y a de magnifiques endroits à découvrir si l'on aime marcher. Cette petite maison est cosy et peu bruyante bien que la route soit à proximité. Les propriétaires sont aimables et discrets. L'aménagement intérieur est simple, pratique, propre, suffisant pour y passer une ou deux semaines de vacances pour se déconnecter du monde moderne."

"This was a stop for us traveling thru the Pyranees. Great location, but I didn't notice that it was a bare minimum hostel. So no towels, no linens. There is, however, an excellent little french restaurant just 500m down the road. Very nice host. "
