"I stayed in the Douceur Medoquine room and it was large, quiet, and beautifully decorated. The setting is peaceful and next door to the famous Chateau Pichon Baron. The owners, Pascale and Alex, were very helpful, friendly, and hospitable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Uber and taxi service was somewhat unreliable so it is a good idea to have a car. I highly recommend Le Coeur des Vignes."

"Windows opened which was welcome. Basic but clean rooms. Vending machine for water/drinks/snacks."

"Location was a bit out the way, had to drive for evening meals- limited restaurants open, irregular opening times! Accommodation in annex was really good- rooms a good size. No fridge in room which would have been ideal, fridge in a shared kitchen upstairs, but I don’t like to leave my wine in open areas for others to take advantage of! Breakfast tremendous, the best croissants I’ve ever had in France, been travelling there for 45yrs +! You can taste the wine at 6:30pm (€10pp) from the chateau, we didn’t as we had to drive - their restaurant was closed from September!"

The owners of the property were amazing hosts, cooked amazing food and made sure that we got the most out of our stay. WOW, just wow! "People were nice and the puppy was really cute. Restaurant closed in evening, Spa/pool etc is 18E perperson extra. Lots of mosquitos outside so the garden and even the balcony in the room was unusable. On teh good side parking was easy and the bathroom and shower was large and very clean. Hotel itself seemed very quiet."

"It seems that there is rarely someone at the reception desk after 18:00...therefore, there was no one ask for information on things. Also there was no ice machine at the hotel. With that said, overall we liked the place, and are likely to return. Lovely location, impressive entrance, with a huge vineyard in the backyard, right in the middle of the "road of many chateaus". The room, along with the bathroom were both very spacious, with King-sized bed, high-quality mattress and pillows. The breakfast was excellent quality too."
