"Very nice place with everything you could possibly need including some thoughtful touches in the kitchen and storage room. By sea view, I thought it was closer to the beach, but was a few minutes walk through the village - was glad the property owners advised us to bring a flashlight because it was certainly needed at night. Certainly felt safe but was just dark, and you had to navigate some unpaved areas. Kiwenga is a very quiet area - perhaps a bit too serene for our taste but the apartment...

"My family of 5 picked this luxury apartment for a recent trip to DAR. Check in was 4pm but we arrived at 4:45pm, but the apartment was still being cleaned. We dropped our luggages and left to allow the cleaning to be completed. We returned at 10:30pm only to find numerous live creeping bugs and a coakroach in one of the bedrooms and the hallway. "The pictures on VRBO do not show the actual beauty of the place. Abs Juma was so gracious to retrieve me ahh no d my family from the airport and take us back on departure. He checked on us frequently to see if there was any additions to make our stay comfortable. Ayoub, house attendant assisted with laundry after our safari. Many eateries nearby. Short drive to stone town and the beach. Tours were easily arranged with driver that picked us up from the airport. We had an awesome time in Zanzibar....
