"I arrived at El Pontifical fairly late at night, and the experience was welcoming from the moment I arrived. If you’re coming by Uber, I recommend making sure your driver takes you all the way to the exact hotel location. A staff member met me at the door and were incredibly friendly and helpful, which I especially appreciated after a long day of travel. Another major plus was that the cave restaurant was still open, so I was able to order something to eat without having to venture back out after arriving. That alone was a welcome surprise after a full travel day! Overall, the hospitality really stood out. The staff made my late arrival easy and comfortable, and I appreciated how accommodating and helpful everyone was. A great stay with genuinely warm service!"

"This is a beautiful hotel, very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The de luxe room we had was spacious and had a screened terrace. We have stayed here 3 times before and will use it again. We didn't eat in the hotel so I can't vouch for the food."
