Check in was incredibly smooth and the area was extremely quiet. Chose this location because it was pet friendly and my dog and I got a good night’s rest here!
Recently stayed for six nights…used as a base for a week long fishing trip. Great location for access to the Madison River and within 90 minutes of the several other major fly fishing destinations. Quiet, clean and safe spot.

Hanna was super nice and super helpful! Super clean, not one single hair in the shower. The backyard view was amazing with a lake right behind! Will be back in a few months for sure!
This is an amazing hotel. Very clean and spacious room. Absolutely love the outdoor space! There is outside seating out front a d a nice porch with picnic table and additional seating area outside the backdoor. I will highly recommend this location to others.
We were absolutely thrilled to stay the McCallister Inn. the view was gorgeous. Simple instructions for remote check in and check out. Very spacious room and very clean. Great amenities - even had a fridge. Would highly recommend.
Excellent stay, beautiful room, very clean and comfortable! We loved the outside patio with picnic table, table and chairs! Don’t be put off by the outside appearance…it doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the room was excellent! 👍
Large room. Has patio with beautiful view of lake and mountains. Patio table and chairs. Staff leaves at 4:00 so lockbox checkin. Restaurant and bar was closed. Sister facility 7 miles down the road.

Disliked: Staff & service
It was a nice room and the back was great for pets. The downside is our TV was broke and there was nobody around to fix it.
Staff was wonderful and communicated well. Enjoyed the view and was impressed with the room and size of it. Beds were comfortable and location was great.
We stayed here as we traveled through Yellowstone National Park. There is a steakhouse on the property that was unfortunately closed for a few days but there is an Italian restaurant right across the street that was very good. I would recommend this place to stay.
The only reason for the 3 stars for amenities is because we were there in January and the bed linens were SUPER lightweight and there were no extra blankets so it was chilly. Thankfully my parents live nearby and loaned us some layers. We turned on the heater but it sounded like a helicopter was in the room with us all night. Apparently they were getting ready to replace all of the ac/heater units so I guess we just had bad timing. Also be advised that if you visit during the off season, check in is done remotely and no one is on property. That wasn’t a problem for us at all and it posed no difficulty for us. We were the ONLY guests for 2 of the 3 nights so we saw that as pretty cool but also a little “Are we about to be involved in a western murder mystery?” Hahaha I’m joking because I am a former Montanan and this is our sense of humor. The room was perfectly fine and very clean. Ennis is an awesome community and we felt this was a good value! We Love Montana!
This was the best place we have stayed at this summer. we were so happy when we got here. check-in was easy, the room was so spacious. loved the cover patio out the back door, beautiful view.
