McCloud is a small, relatively quiet town that has not been gentrified. There a few good restaurants and bars and coffee shops that are unpretentious and serve relatively high quality food and drinks. Outdoor options abound all around.

One of our go to stays while in McCloud. The food is always impeccable and the atmosphere is on point for a romantic getaway!♥️ The owners are on site, providing the fabulous meals and are readily available if anything is needed during your stay. I highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the Tucci House!!! The house was roomy, well decorated, and comfortable. All of the amenities were provided down to all the little details. We will be back!

It was a nice, quiet stay in a quaint, old cabin styled house. With the age of the building, it was not very warm. The fireplace and upstairs pipe heat was nice, but an inconvenience. McCloud is a magical place sitting at the base of Mt Shasta’s south flank. You won’t get a better view of Mt Shasta anywhere else in the vicinity of the mountain. The mountain is in full view. Clean water in abundance and fresh air all around!
Go to the cafe by the kyaks on Quincy St. They have great coffees!
