"Loved our stay! Very impressed and happy with staff communication. They came out to refresh our amenities and bring medicine that I requested as well as coming out to help start the fire which was super nice. Wifi was available and worked pretty well! Definitely a relaxing getaway. Kitchen has everything we needed from silverware to plates cups and bowls. Also had pots and pans to cook inside. Quiet area even though we had a standard cabin, still couldn’t hear much from nearby neighbors, which was a plus. No complaints at all. Will be back!"

"Excellent accommodations in room including very comfortable bed, great desk, both a microwave and refrigerator, good breakfast with very congenial staff person. Well maintained. Clean and excellent decor. Suggestion: install some USB ports in room for charging phones, computers etc. Otherwise, great."

"We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! The main bedrooms had super soft beds, which is not our preference, so my husband and I slept in the single beds in the game room. The house has all the immensities our family needed, and we didn't even use them all! Best part, we watched the fireworks from the backyard."

"This rescue farm is amazing! Maurine, Emily and Angela are so hardworking to give the horses, goats, chickens, geese, turkeys, Sassafras the donkey, mini horses, cats and dogs a second chance! Maurine is quick to respond with any questions you may have before or while you’re there. The animals, the house (wonderfully equipped kitchen), the grounds…all a vibe for any animal lover or those who just want to be away from the hub bub while on vacation. We rarely left the farm because we were so relaxed and having such a great time. The river is an easy 10 min walk to the back of the property. If the river scene isn’t for you, Buttercup Beach is the sweetest beach (free!) - just a 6 min drive from the farm. You won’t regret staying here and if you’re like us, you’ll want to return."
