"It was our first trip since 2019 and were really excited. When we arrived around 4:30-5 pm and went inside ourfirst impression was that it was very nice. Shortly after, we noticed the some unsanitary conditions. There was a blood stain in the middle room on the blanket then when we went into the primary room there was a stained blotch (which looked like dried blood) so we decided to sleep on the couch, My daughter (12) pointed out we had no privacy since there was no blind in the kitchen over the sink, no blinds on the sliding glass door and we were really close to the slopes so we moved the bar stools in front of the sliding doors and put a blanket over them to get as much privacy as we could. Other people have had the same concern. I noticed there was tape in the corners where others had the same concerns. The handrails leading downstairs were filthy. I'm sorry, there is no other way to put it. I used about half a container of Lysol wipes to try and clean them. The primary bathroom had vomit drips on the wall in front of the toilet. That was also quite gross. The door handle was very jiggly, and we thought we were alone there so I put a chair under the handle to help my daughter and myself feel more safe. I read about about the issues with internet service and read it was addressed but the connection was terrible and she had to use my hotspot. "

"We have been coming here for many years usually staying a week. This time we used the "Hotel" option for one night on the way to our final destination. Absolutely will do that again. The room, shower and bed were great. "

"This house was wonderful! My family and I had so much fun and the house had something different for all of us to do. Definitely a hit for our kids will do this in the future."

"We were a group of six including adults and teenagers. We loved the spaciousness of this home! There was lots of room to hang out together or separate. We also really enjoyed the balconies and patios. The closest national park entrance was Swift Run Gap and it was only about a 20 minute drive. The kitchen was also stocked enough with pots and pans for us to cook several meals in. Overall, we loved this place and it was perfect for our trips to Shenandoah National Park!"

"This was a great place to stay right off the slopes! Everything was clean and comfortable. Chech-in/out was very easy and the host was nice.We had our dog along on this trip too and it was nice to walk inside and see a basket with bowls, poop bags, and a few toys! Definitely made us feel welcome, we would stay again! "

"Fantastic home with something for everyone!! We played video games, pickleball and enjoyed watching a movie in the theatre. We also made s’mores outside around the fire pit. Close to everything! Highly recommend home and host!"
