"Lovely property with a gorgeous view of Mille Lacs Lake. There were a lot of bugs, mosquitos (which bite) and lake flies (which look like mosquitos but don’t bite) which made it difficult to sit outside at night, but that’s just part of lake living. During the day the grounds were a great place to relax and enjoy the breeze. Needed to contact the property manager during our stay and she was delightful to talk to and very helpful. I would recommend this as a place to stay for your lake visit."

"Very enjoyable trip! The cabin was vey cozy and clean. With the windows open at night and the sound of loons on the lake.....PEACEFUL!!!! Would definitely book again!"

"Absolutely amazing. Would stay here again hands down! We saw 2 families of geese and 2 bald eagles right off the deck! Beautiful scenery, quiet and relaxing. I wish 4.75 was an option for overall rating, the reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is only because a set of stairs down to the lake would really be ideal.. it’s quite the hill when carrying chairs up and down with the sand. Other than that 5 out of 5!! Thank you so much!"

"Clean cozy cabin! Recommend a stay here even if you dont have a boat its beautiful. Stayed from our normal weekend Mille Lacs to have a change of lake and scenery. If we go back to Big Sandy for an overnight(s) will try for this place again. Both the cabin and bunk house were just perfect and as advertised or better! Sammie super responsive and helpful. Before and duting our stay. Definitely turnkey and we could have stayed longer and been perfectly happy with the property and the area. I guess a reason to go back! Two things to note if this might apply to you I got a little mixed up on getting the tv streaming on the internet that was a little newish to me but got it figured out pretty quick. User error! And...TV up north..enjoy the view :) Driveway is a little steep/short and there is a hill decline from top of driveway to cabin and again to dock (beautiful view!)...but a wagon was there to help and there are nice wide steps. And you can park on the road in a pinch with a trailer so that was really convenient Thanks Sammie youve got a gem here thanks for the stay!!"
