"Charming, unique, cozy, clean and close to everything! I loved this cozy cabin so much and wished we would have longer than one night to stay. There are so many thoughtful touches and the decor is so unique and fun. I think my jaw stayed dropped for five minutes as I took it all in. Highly recommend for a couple or a small family with kids older than toddlers ( unless the sleep on futon in living room). The two rooms are in the open loft and are not private or enclosed. That made no difference to us because it was just the two of us, but something to mention. Don’t let the lack of central heat scare you. There are space heaters around but we never needed them. The wood burning fireplace kept the cabin warm and cozy. There is not a full kitchen…but there is a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker and the owner even provided a bag of popcorn and some apples in the fruit bowl. We didn’t miss the kitchen, but if staying long term, that may be an issue…just the perfect reason to enjoy the great local restaurant. This was just the cutest place and the location could not be better…right on the Main Street so easy walk to all the shops, restaurants and river. Close to Pikes Peak State Park, Yellow River State Forest…so much to see and do and beautiful in the Fall. Hope to come back for longer in the future. "

"The room was comfortable. The location next to Cabellas was nice for shopping. Nice pool area and hottub, although that could of been warmer. All in all we enjoyed our stay with no complaints! We were hoping the restaurant next to it was open but we tried a different one in town. "

"This was the nicest Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in. We always stay there because we have two dogs. The room looked like it had just been remodeled all new bathroom, fixtures, etc. and very clean. We had a room towards the end because we had dogs and it was very quiet. I would highly recommend this. I believe it was a hotel that had been remodeled because the rooms were a lot bigger than the usual Motel 6 room."

"This was the perfect cozy getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. McGregor is a cute little river town surrounded by beautiful bluffs. There were several state parks and other cute nearby towns to explore. The Chalet was perfect for us. Jason was easy to reach and quick to respond to messages. "

"This is a very nice property. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The handicap shower was very large with a seat and adjustable shower head. Breakfast was the usual with eggs, sausage, tater tots and breakfast burritos, waffles, cereals, yogurt, toast and bagels. The only downfall is the parking lot is very small, and you may need to park on the street, also the trains run very close and do honk their horn. We have stayed here before and will again."

"Host was very accommodating, went above and beyond allowing to check in despite a scheduling snafu on my end.Host was very friendly. He operates an ice cream/coffee shop on the property and we loved his early morning, freshly ground and roasted coffee. Room was clean and just as described."
