"What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. I wish we had booked more than one night so we could have taken advantage of the amenities, like the kayaking and boat tour. It rained the one night we were there, so we didn't get to do either. The room was absolutely incredible and very clean. It had a whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, and a view of the lake. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of choices. The lake views from this property were both peaceful and breathtaking. The staff was amazing and very helpful."

"Did not receive the room type that was in the reservation. When I went back to the front desk I was told there was nothing they could do except leave a note for a manager. Nothing was communicated to me about this at checkout either. "

The only suggestions would be 1) to have a mobile heater in the basement as that floor is colder than the rest of the house and 2) to have better blinds.We stayed in April and it was much colder than we expected. We all stayed in the basement and had to use extra blankets.P.S. 10 am check out is too early for my taste. Especially if you have small kids. Luckily, check out list is not as onerous as in some other places"
