"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"The home was perfect for our family gathering - variety of ages. Having a private bath for each bedroom was great!! The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were hits. The kitchen and dining area worked wonderfully for food prep and serving and dining. The outdoor space was limited for 'play' but the fire pit made up for that! We took in hikes (suggest Swallow Falls) and an afternoon at the lake. A fishing excursion with Captain Phil was the highlight of the 7 year old. He was perfect with young ones.The home was clean and comfortable. The communication with the host was exceptional - very attentive and available. Not on the lake but wasn't critical as we could travel a short distance for the lake - and the children preferred the indoor pool. Highly recommend the property and the host!!"
