Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very nice. Noise was a little annoying. The neighbor room had tv on all night and we could hear it. It wasnt terrible but noticible.

Pool area was very nice. The hot tub was hot and the pool wasn't freezing. The pool room itself was warm. Perfect for these winter days. Very good area close to restaurants and only a few minutes from the mall. Good breakfast options. Would definitely stay here again.

I grew up here, so none of it was really new to me. We did make sure to stop at our food places while we were there; Plum Garden, Portillos, Happy Jacks for the Ice cream, and Lou Malnati’s for the best Chicago style pizza.

Mchenry itself is ok but Hampton Inn Mchenry is pretty great!
