"The property was listed with photos of coast cliff, beach dinner, and sunset beach walk! But none of these are part of the ADU! We are booking based on the coast property that can see the ocean or bay but it ends up with a non-refundable booking within the town of a busy street. Traffic noise in night time and early morning. Bed is so soft. For the same price, we were picking between an ocean facing hotel and the “cliff+beach side” ADU. Big mistakes! Host should remove those three unrelated...

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eureka by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Rooms were very clean, comfy bed, and convenient location. Breakfast was top notch lots of choices and good coffee. Spacious eating area. Pool was a bit shallow and hot tub is pretty small. Overall my husband and I had a great stay!"

Arcata---Cozy, Newer Cabin in the Redwoods with Hot tub

8/10 Good

"Directions were clear and organized. Property was easy to get into. Little cold and hard to heat, but manageable. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Long list of house rules and cleanup that felt a little overwhelming and confusing at times. The loft was really nice hang out in and WiFi/tv worked well. The cabin was clean, with a rustic vibe. Overall good value."

🌊Welcome to Mermaid Cove: Your Luxurious Oceanfront Retreat 🧜🏼‍♀️

10/10 Excellent

"This was absolutely adorable and had anything and everything one might need.We were there for more somber reasons but if I ever come back, I would definately come to this place again. The hiking was right next door. Very close to dining and Trinidad which had the most superb ocean views. The hot tub was in great condition although we only used twice it was the perfect setting. It shows that this place is cared with love"

Cozy Coastal by Beaches & Redwoods

8/10 Good

"Very nice place for a short stay near the Arcata airport. When we pulled up, we were a little concerned based on the appearance of the outside, but the inside was very nice. I would hesitate to stay here for a lengthy amount of time as the kitchen provides just the bare bones of what is needed, but it was perfect for the two nights we were there. The owner of the property is outstanding to deal with - very accommodating and super at communication. Would certainly stay here again when visiting family in the McKinleyville area."

Butterfly Cove/5 minutes to Beaches and Redwoods

10/10 Excellent

"My friends found the property to be perfect for them. Three grown senior brothers, each had their own bedroom, only two had to share a bathroom. Even though it wasn't cold, they felt the need to use the heater and it got to their perfect temps quickly. Quiet neighborhood, in an area of McKinleyville that is very central to everything in McKinleyville. They are very happy to have stayed there."
