"Fabulous place! Can’t praise it enough! Right on Route 66!"

"At $40 a night you have to have low expectations, but this place was great! Clean bed, and did NOT smell like smoke which is all I was looking for! There was a fridge and microwave which exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this place to budget travelers. The only things to note are that the air conditioner/heater is above the sink so you have to climb the sink to turn it on. There was not a remote. I am young so that is fine, but if you cannot do this then you will be without temperature...

"I have had some bad experiences with small local motels but we decided to take a chance with Western Motel. I was very pleased with my stay. The room was a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable and the price was great. The gentleman manning the front counter was very pleasant and helpful. I would have no problem with staying here again. "

"I really like this motel. It’s my third stay. It is very basic, but the price is right and it is conveniently off Rte 40. It is funky, 50s or 60s vintage, no frills, a little shabby, but clean and comfortable. The parking is right in front of the rooms, which not always the case and it is all ground floor. It can be a little noisy."

"Very unique and wonderful place to stay. The location is tucked away from the main road but once you arrive and enter the house, you will be amazed at how beautifully designed and put together it is. The house is an open layout with beautiful furniture and lighting throughout. In addition to the wonderful house, the homeowners were amazing with promptly responding to messages and left some cookies out for our arrival. Overall we give this a 10/10 rating for our experience.
