"Nice property in Maine, we had a great time enjoying the lake and hanging at the cabin. Things we loved- the beautiful windows, paddle boarding and enjoying the lake, the views from the cabin. The outdoor shower is nice and has hot water. Items to be aware of when booking- while in the woods, not as private as one would think. Other cabins surround the house. The hot tub was foamy/foggy. No outdoor fires. Lastly, price of the home changes per number of guests, which was an annoying inconvenience when I invited some our friends to join us. We booked the house and rented the house no matter if there were 2, 4 or 5 people joining. This was a frustrating element that significantly changed the price of the overall booking."

"Jonathan was very responsive as soon as we booked.We booked Feb15-Feb17th. Liked the fact that the road isn’t labeled so it felt like you were in the middle of no where . We were able to check in early for a discounted rate . Which was really nice !!! Next morning waking up to the snowy mountains was super nice !! Watched the snowmobiles use the trail near the house that was enjoyable . So the A-frame has a tankless hot water heater .The water was a little chilly . No complaints here as we just took quick showers . The sink water was the only way to get super hot water . Seemed it was the only bathroom downstairs that worked best . We found some reminants of fake rose petals from the previous stay . Again no issue !! Loved how we could grill , have a fire and enjoy the hot tub all at the same time . My husband and I are outdoorsy people so this was right up our alley . Love the accommodation for dogs . The host had a dog bed and bowls for pups who were staying . If you’re looking for a good local spot to eat definitely try the Queens head pub. 20 mins from the house! Overall we enjoyed the house and Jonathan was easy to communicate with ! We hope to book again in the future !! "

"We just had the best long weekend at this home. We found everything to be exactly as you would expect for a home away from home. The host was responsive to our questions and the property is amazing! We really enjoyed the hot tub a sauna after a long day on the ice and there was even a surprise playroom in the basement for our toddler. The town is adorable with great food and shopping options. Village tie up bakery was a stand out for sure! We cannot wait to go back. 10/10"

"This place was so wonderful! The view was absolutely unreal especially as it snowed most of the time we were there. The fireplace, hot tub, windows, privacy... all of it! I cannot tell you how great it was to have such solitude and peace! It was so cozy. There was a TV with streaming service but no DVD player in case you want to bring movies, you should pack your own player. The kitchen also had all the necessities for a weekend away and we really appreciated the pots, pans, full stove, etc, as we brought all we needed to cook our meals so we never had to leave! We brought our own oil and spices but there was salt and pepper available in case you forget. We had some beautiful deer show up right outside one day!We did need our 4 wheel drive on the way out because it snowed a lot over the long weekend we were there, but they did plow the driveway. It was honestly only for some of the side roads making it back to the highway. But should be no problem at all if you're used to northern winters. Side note... I'm not sure why skiing feedback is a required question in the review process.. just fyi, we didn't ski and there wasn't any ski gear. "

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were at this camp 2 years ago and came back again this year.This place has everything that you would want for your camping experience.Dock is really great for swimming and fishing,views early morning and nights sky are breathtaking.Fireplace is built with ventilation system so you enjoy it without sitting in the cloud of smoke.Camp is really great will be coming next year.Thank you Mr Wilcox and everyone at Krainin See you next year"
