"Clean, great breakfast"

"We had a lovely view of the river and the room was mostly clean. The dishwasher had dishes in it but they were clean so we emptied it. Also our patio had an ashtray full of cigarettes and some empty beer cans but we called an they came to clean it. Our bathroom door wouldn't lock (the second door that led to a hallway) and so they looked the outside hallway door for us to make us feel safer. They said we had nothing to worry about, that the area was safe but I had two small kids and the idea...

"Super-friendly, helpful staff. No problems with speaking English. Was able to launder all of my clothes after the airline soaked my soft-sided luggage with water of unknown quality. The hotel was close to some nice hiking trails, and it was possible to book a "midnight sun" hike at the front desk. Both restaurants in the hotel were good, and the free breakfast was just about the best free breakfast anywhere. Swedish pancakes with a variety of toppings, and smoked salmon were available. ...
