"This was our first trip to the Dordogne and the first time travelling with our 9-month old dog. Our accommodation - Cote du Grel - was perfect for us. Enclosed small garden which was great for our dog and for us relaxing in the sun. Terrace area where we had all our meals - it was so peaceful. "This is an annexe that has the owners stamp on it and is all the better for it. As a bijou gite for 1 or 2 people it’s ideal. Albas is a fabulous location with easy access to the river, cycle routes and the vineyards. The whole area is utterly gorgeous! The sheltered terrace is lovely private space and you get a real sense of being part of the village. The location is very quiet, but very well located: all necessary shops just a few minutes walk away, the Dordogne river including canoe hiring also just a few minutes walk away.
