Complete luxury with a setting in the hill/mountains of the Douro valley that is right out of movie setting. Friendly helpful staff always eager to help. The room was luxurious, the included breakfast was just out of this world. Off season prices made this incredible place even better! The only reason I gave it 5 starts was because 6-7-8 were not available!"

"A beautiful view but not a great option if you have any kind of mobility issues. Be prepare to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. No elevators anywhere. That qualification aside, a beautiful place ."

"The rooms are located behind reception. They were clean no views but the breakfast offered a wide variety. The coffee was good full sized americano coffee The room was comfortable with goid size bathroom with good shower head. Would select this hotel again."
