I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new and comfortable accomodation. The place is ran by a loving family, who goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasent stay. They helped us book tours, gave us names of great local eats, and even allowed us to check out at 4pm so that we would have enough time to visit one more waterfall, come back to the hotel and shower before leaving.

This was our first stop in Bali & ended up being our favorite place. I am thankful my wife brought ear plugs, with Ramadan, the local mosques were blasting prayers at all hours. Our bed was very comfortable. We had a standard room on the street side so the ear plugs were nice with motorbikes showing up very early. Cocktails were weak. It's a beautiful newish property with spectacular views!! It was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly. The only negative is that it is hard to find - no signs on main street and kind of bad path off the main road. The outside of the property seems to be worked on still so hopefully it will all be resolved once finished. Also not much to do right around there - but that is probably the case for many places around Bali.

This was a nice bungalow for the price. Close walk to the beach. There is an outdoor shower and the bathroom is exposed to the outside making it hard to keep bugs out. It was a bit of a nuisance to keep closing the bathroom doors to keep the bugs out and the AC in. They do provide a mosquito net. Bed only comes with a sheet blanket, no comforter on top. Damai hotel was very nice and relaxing in a beautiful serene setting. Drinks and food at the hotel are first class but on the expensive side for Bali. The problem with the place is there is not much to do if you are there for a several days. The town of Lovina is small and it does not offer much of shopping or great restaurants.
