"Cool little spot in the older part of Barcelona. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. European boutique hotel, room was very clean and spacious considering it was classed as a double. Was very busy as we, along with many other guests, were joining a cruise the next day, but the staff were fantastic. Would highly recommend."

I would recommend to ask if wifi works in the room, in case you need it during your stay. The team is very helpful and nice, I felt really welcomed. This is a busy hotel/resort with a lot of people, and there is an intence entertainment program, which we liked."

"I have never paid so much for a hotel that had so little to offer. The room was absolutely lacking in color and detail; everything but the duvet was grey. But what really disturbed me was the fact that the pool was not operating. No reason was provided for this. I was really looking forward to a good swim before a 12-flight. The restaurants were nearly empty and it was easy to understand why; the prices were exorbitant. For $500 US per night, you'd think they could at least include breakfast in the fee. ILike most guests, I simply walked back to the airport and bought food there. Given that the Sofitel is the ONLY airport hotel, they are able to get away with charging so much for so little."
