"This is a lovely family home, in which three generations live around a beautiful courtyard with pool. I was well looked after throughout, including being served the most gorgeous breakfast every morning by Fethia, who also kept the room clean and could not have been kinder. The guesthouse is a short distance outside the town of Houmt Souk, requiring your own car or taxis to get anywhere, but the compensation is being away from the main tourist area and part of an authentic "Menzel" dwelling. My room did not have Wifi, unfortunately, but I did have access through the next-door office."

"If you appreciate accommodation with genuine traditional character, this is the place for you. It’s beautifully maintained and feels very special. The staff are a delight—always smiling and helpful. We spent a couple of wonderful evenings in the lovely restaurant, which served delicious local beers. To top it off, the ease of access to the main attractions made our daily planning a breeze"

"Helene is a super host, she was very helpful and communicated very well from the moment we booked, she organised us a taxi to collect us from the airport and we were also greeted apon arrival. The villa is very private and comfortable with lots of space! We had everything we needed and if we requested something it was brought almost immediately! The location is good, just a short walk to the main road where there is a couple of small shops and you can pick up passing taxis. The by the villa isn't great but a short distance away there are lots of beautiful beaches with nice restaurants! We felt very safe and everyone we met were super friendly and helpful! My only negative is the pool could do with a little attention as a lot of tiles need replacing! "
