"Loved this property. The owner was fabulous. Provided lots of good options for things to do on the island. The propery was lovely and very well-appointed. "The location was terrific, right in the heart of Argostoli. We could walk everywhere. The rooftop terrace bar had great views. The room was quiet and comfortable. The shower stall is very small, but that's not unusual in European hotels. Check in was less than 2 minutes. Breakfast was delicious and there were many options available."

"What an amazing hotel. Lovely rooms that are meticulously cleaned each day and given the turn-down service at night. Fantastic food, not only the sumptuous breakfast buffet that's included, but also the lunches and dinners a la carte - all served by friendly, smiling staff. Oh and then a cocktail bar with a glorious view to start or end the night. Cannot fault it."

Fantastic Stay

"We had a fantastic stay at Zest at Xi beach. We stayed in a studio which was perfectly adequate in size foralways a couple. The studio was immaculately clean and smelt lovely and fresh. It contains everything required for a self catering holiday, although, we ate out all the time except breakfast. A very nice free breakfast was provided in a lovely setting around the pool. It was a great way to start the day. Petros, the owner, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He spoke great English and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Petros. We would highly recommend Zest and have already booked to return. "

Villa Karavaki - 3 bedroom family villa close to Xi beach and Lixouri town

Beautiful location

"We stayed at the villa for 2 weeks, and loved every minute of it, the villa is in a peaceful spot with stunning views but only a short drive to all amenities, and lixouri. Frances was a great host, we arrived early hours of the morning to find the fridge full with all we would need until we could get to a shop. The villa itself is perfect for a family holiday, I particularly liked that it was designed for guests and we didn’t feel like we were in someone else’s home. We would definitely go back - thanks for a great stay :) "

"The villa had everything we needed, the view was amazing. The host was the best you could hope for, even stayed past midnight to greet us and provided a welcome meal,As well as a supply of essentials. I would recommend this villa to anyone wishing amazing views in peaceful surroundings."

"We had a lovely stay. The views and pool were lovely. Great location for a beach and taverna, 40 min walk or €10 taxi to lixouri with lots of nice restaurants and shops. The villa needs a little TLC in some of the outside areas, but this didn’t affect our say. Good communication with the owner. Good size bedrooms and nice and clean. We had a lovely holiday."

Lovely villa - quiet area

"This was our 2nd stay in Villa Varkoula. It’s a simple but lovely villa, with pool and great views of hills. Very peaceful. A joy to watch the swallows/swifts dipping down to sip from the swimming pool, a few sightings of an eagle and cute bats in the evening. A car is essential, but the town of Lixouri and several lovely and not too busy beaches are all within a short drive. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a base to explore the wonderful island of the Kephalonia."
