"Nice, clean little place owned by the same operator as Kokopo Beach Bungalows (a much more fancy, and expensive, place to stay). Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Nancy. Great option if you are on a budget and wanting to go to the National Mask and Warwargira Festival, as they run low-cost shuttles to and from festival events and can help you arrange the tickets, There is also a Chinese restaurant onsite which has reasonably-priced food."

"Very helpful and congenial staff"

"Nice room with ac, the staff is great and can assist you in any situation "

"Checked in to this apartment, and unfortunately, it has been a very terrible experience. 😤 The staff clearly lacked proper communication and professionalism. We were supposed to check out at 1:00 PM, as that was what we paid for, yet our luggage was placed outside at 10:00 AM without any proper explanation. What made it even worse was the poor communication. The person answering the phone was often different from the person we met, and no one seemed to know exactly what was going on. We...

"Sandra, with the aid of Google Translate made us feel welcome and at ease straight away. The cottage we stayed in was quirky, very clean and well-equipped including free WiFi. Local facilities aren't so good, you'll definitely need a car and the local beaches aren't ideal for swimming or snorkelling but there is a pool to lounge in and around. Noumea is about half an hour drive away and there are some museums and things to do there. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there...

"Stay like home"

"Nora went out of her way to help especially when my flight was cancelled and we had to get to the airport by 7am the next day to be certain that I got on a flight. It may seem expensive that she charges 70k to pick up and take you into town but she spends a lot more time than just doing that. She is keen to please. The main problem there is that the internet is pretty patchy but I think that is a problem all over PNG due to the water in the hydro dams being short and therefore a lack of...

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Yolanda, the owner cooked us lunch breakfast and dinner for the price of the cost of the room stay. You can rent snorkeling gear and fins from this place, but no proper live vest for beginners. Arrangements can be made here to take you to dive or snorkeling sites. It is not a 4 star hotel but we had a great memorable experience. It's a small village of 200 friendly people on a small island. There are lots of little grocery stores all over the island to buy...

"It doesn't look like much from the outside however when you get to your room is very spacious with a lot of amenities decent sized bed it is a little out from town but is very well connected with the local buses which cost 3 Solomon dollars each way"

"We took a chance on Midemide for part of our Marovo stay, and we loved it. Location is key to the appeal of this brand new place, as is the friendly, helpful owner himself. The bedroom is small but perfect, with mosquito net and fan. The unit has full bath, and kitchen (for self catering or to have meals prepared). There is an outdoor sitting area with hammocks, and a dock with lots of reef activity beflow. The knot of Islands and mangroves in the northern part of Marovo lagoon belongs to...
