The hot water is _very_ hot, exercise caution. Of course you can easily mix hot with cold. Our only "downside" observation was on behalf of my relatively short, 4'11 fiancee, who could not reach the short chain to...

"Overall, this is a nice property in a remote location but near to all kinds of outdoor activities, river fun, hiking and Blanchard Springs Cavern. The property was well maintained and clean. There is a ladder leading to an upstairs bedroom so if you have little kids be prepared. The cabin is in a remote location off of a dirt road but fairly easy to find. This is a small quaint cabin in the middle of woods with all kinds of wildlife."

"We loved this property! It was our Anniversary weekend and we truly enjoyed the quiet. We saw several different birds, and was visited by the cows everyday. Country store provided us with a wonderful pizza. Blanchard springs caverns was just a little ways down the road and very convenient. Hope to stay here on future visits to the area."

The Little House on the Hill was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We loved the location and the place!! I can’t say enough good things about this place and the host. Will definitely stay again! 😃"

"The house is tucked away so cozy in the trees and is perfectly clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the essentials. Our hosts were so sweet. We were there for my husband’s birthday and they left a cake and candles in the refrigerator for him. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!"
