What a joke

This place is a scam! I booked through hotels dot com and they didn’t even have my Reservation. They never answered the phone! If you like losing your money, then def book here!

When arrived could barely find it, construction and junk, the cottages looked nice the so called hot tubs were not appealing to human usage. No one on site. Talked eventually to owner who said the reservation I had through Expedia did not exist and that he does not deal with Expedia, even though I had confirmation numbers, he did off to back me up with media, not sure who the bad guy was here, and did not see inside of cottages but the so called riverfront view was very unappealing because of the broken down looks of the docks and the littered landscape.

Well what can I say!! Absolutely disgusting place to stay! Booked for 3 night's left after approximately 12 hours after having no choice but to sleep over. Take your own pillow if you are planning to stay. I had to roll up a sweatshirt to use! If you are planning on using the hot tub. NONE EXSISTENT. Photos on website are old. No facility even to make a hot drink. No cups, plates, cutlery etc. Not that i would have used them. Stay away be warned.

Horrible experience, lack of business professional

We arrived at the location after driving for 5 hours. We werw told they do not take reservations fo4 only one night, they do not accept pets, and they haven't utilized Hotels.com. for over a year. So, we did not get to stay. All other hotel rooms in the area were booked, so ee started our drive back to N Florida and found a place to stay miles away. This is VERY unprofessional of BOTH Marker 99 Resort and Hotels.com!!!!!!! I am now working to get my refund from Hotels.com. I should not be forced to dispute my refund!!!!!!!! And the communication between both business are so pathetically unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I have to day about that......
