"Just returned from a 4 night break at the PopAlp. We had an amazing stay at this hotel, we were greeted by Nicolas on reception who was warm and welcoming, he was so helpful and could not do enough for us, he is a credit to the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, well appointed, the beds were very comfortable and plenty of storage. Breakfast was lovely everything you need from fruit, breads, pastries etc.The hot breakfast items like back & eggs could have been kept hotter but apart from this everything was "

"The room was lovely, looked bigger in pictures but was perfectly fine. Comfortable bed and pillows, the spa was great with the ice room relieving aches after a days skiing. Breakfast was really accommodating for a gluten free intolerance and the staff were extremely helpful. Would recommend staying! "

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this chalet over Christmas and New Year! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and the chalet itself exceeded all expectations—spotlessly clean, warm, and wonderfully comfortable. Perfect for six adults, it was fully equipped for cozy dinners in after long ski days. Despite having just one toilet, it never caused any issues, and we always had plenty of hot water for showers.The little extras made it even better: a warm, easily accessible boot room and a great selection of DVDs and games (not even mentioned in the listing!). The host’s local agent checked in on Christmas Eve, which was such a thoughtful touch.The only minor downside was the lack of parking and the icy walk from the bus stop, which might be tricky for beginners or families with young kids. For us, it was no problem—the bus stop at the bottom of Crete Cote was super convenient. Our older kids hired skis at Sport 2000 Plagne 1800 and rented a locker near the lift, making mornings and evenings stress-free. They even made a ritual of warming up by the fire at La Mine Bar for a quick drink before heading back for a cozy night in!With buses running so frequently, we won’t bother hiring a car next time. "Wonderful property, very friendly and helpful staff."

"The property is fantastic, HOWEVER:1) It isn’t ski in/out (at least a 300m walk before you ski through trees to the slopes to get to a red run. We had to drive every day and we’re experienced skiers!2) The room configuration is NOT what is on the website (actual configuration is three doubles, one single, one room with two bunk beds). This made our lives hard as we had told children which rooms they would be in, based on description. We did have a couple of issues while staying, but they were fixed VERY QUICKLY. The owner (local contact) were excellent. "

"This hotel relies on its location and easy ski in ski out. However the room condition was fairly worn out, the bathroom just about alright, but the separate toilet room was fairly nasty. Our room seemed to smell a bit of old smoke too. Breakfast was ok, and the staff were nice. The boot room was good too "
