"Wonderful apartment, very cute and quiet village. Very clean, comfortable, safe. Communication excellent. I recommend you have a rental car. I didn't and it is a 15-min/ 1km hike up from the very reliable and inexpensive ferry and train. It took me (not young and used to the US suburbs) a day to get acclimatized to this - it is an alpine village. The town of Lierna and this apartment are perfectly suited to day hikers. "

"Die ganze Region ist traumhaft schön. Leider gibt es aber Abstriche zum gemieteten Objekt. Auf den Fotos sieht alles viel grösser aus. Warmwasser kommt erst nach einigen Minuten laufenlassen. Internet, wenn überhaupt, war nur am Morgen verfügbar. Das inbegriffene Frühstück wurde uns am Morgen in einem Korb vor die Tür abgestellt. Der Kaffee für 3 Personen reichte gerade für eine. Frühstück stellen wir uns anders vor. Leider war das Etikett besser als der Inhalt."

"Pros: Matteo is a very attentive host. His vacation house has been restored in a very inspiring way, leaving all sorts of details intact. Naggio is a tiny hill village, and is a good starting point for hikes in the region. We had a very nice stay in his place, and we can recommend the place. Two points of attention for guests. "To start, just walking thru the village in Varenna was amazing! Then we got to the piazza that was all lit up with twinkling lights on every tree. The Hotel Royal Victoria didn’t disappoint. The staff was warm and friendly and our room was absolutely beautiful! There was a hand written note and treats waiting for us. The view of Lake Como was incredible. The room was clean and we enjoyed a wonderful nights sleep in the comfortable bed. The breakfast spread and view from every table was a bonus. We hope to return again someday! "
